This tutorial used a Roxas wig for it's example. However, the same principles can be applied to any spiky wig that isn't HUGE. This is the method I also used for my old Sora wig!

I hope this is helpful for some people. I've had a lot of people asking me to post a tutorial on spiking. So here it finally is! This is the easiest, most simple way to spike. When using a wig that doesn't have a lot of natural lift like a Scruffy or a Punky, there is a different procedure that I use to create spikes. It's much harder, but I might do a tutorial of this in the future. It uses many of the same principles once again, but it is more labour intensive and frustrating.

Anyway, until my next tutorial.

LOVE YA.

I bought that exact wig before I found this tutorial, and I'm so happy! I have to style my wig quite similarly to yours, and all the other tutorials I found required trimming (which I did -not- want to do), so I feel confident now!

Awesome tutorial! I'm going to be styling my first wig, and this is definitely helpful. ^^ When it comes to storage, though, is there a certain way to put a styled wig away for a long-ish period of time that maintains the styling, or do you have to restyle it each time you wear it? Thanks!

WHAT... Do we do if Cosworx doesn't sell Shaggy wigs in Butterscotch blonde or anything resembling it, and whenever you try to contact them they never pick up the phone or reply to your emails?

Sorry about the totally random question, but did they never answer or were they jsut super-slow? D= I'm sorry for you either way ('cause it's rude and, yeah) but it also makes me ambivalent about whether to order from them or not...

Again, sorry and thanks (to everyone in the group who might be all "wut" when reading this. ;))and I get it if you don't feel like answering.

We tried calling them like, twice a day for almost a month, and never got a call back even though we left our number.

But I got a wig from some people who used to work with them, at a con, so I'm all good for now, so long as I don't need a wig from there, that they don't have the color of on the color selection list, again. uvu

I love it! Thanks a bunch ! But I was wondering, since I have hair wax, and for no hairpsray, can I use wax instead of spraay? I never used hair product on wigs before, but since it is made with 100% natural hair, will it be okay? Anyways, thanks a lot ! ~

Ohmyglub~~~ Thank you SO MUCH for making this tutorial!! I was gonna try taking just a regular old blonde wig and keep it up with bobby pins for my Roxas cosplay but THIS is a MUCH better idea~! :'DD

Okay I need to know a simple thing for right now. Does it matter in the end if it looks exactly like it? My wig is a lot more blonde then yours. Its like Naruto wig basically coloured right. D: Any tips? You're such a pro at this!
